BIO
R.J. Ong is a cinematographer based in London and the United States and a recent graduate of the National Film and Television School. He has an affinity for films with elements of social realism, surrealism and fantasy.
R.J’s cinematography include “Watamula”, which was nominated for the prestigious Golden Calves Award in the Netherlands and “Do Not Feed the Pigeons” which won the BAFTA for Best British Short Animation. Recently, "See It, Say it", a short film directed Nez Khammal, photographed by R.J. is currently slated to have the film's international premiere at the Oscar & BAFTA Qualifying SXSW Film and TV Festival 2024.
In addition, R.J. has photographed for brands such as Vogue, GQ, BULGARI, Red Bull, and Universal Music.
